Supporting Inspire

Inspire gets support from a variety of sources including charitable donations but we would not be able to function without the active involvement of people like you. People who raise monies for us through a variety of activities and by making personal or company donations.

The pages that follow, in this section, tell you of some of the ways in which you can support Inspire in providing Arts and Disabilities services in the community.

How to Help

The work undertaken by Inspire is only made possible through people like you - people who want to help people with disabilities, mental health issues or who are disadvantaged and promote well being through arts and health.

Partners

Impress Repro
The 2004 Small Business of the Year - Impress Repro of Peterborough - has chosen Inspire as its long term charity partner. The company will use its core expertise to help the Cambridgeshire-based arts charity develop its profile and fundraising income

Andy Connacher, managing director of Impress Repro, said:

"We wanted to work in partnership with an organisation where we could make a real difference together. We chose Inspire because, like us, they are trying to break down barriers: we do it using the latest technology for print production; and they use art to break down the barriers that people who are disabled or disadvantaged experience - both physically and mentally."

Microsoft Research
"Microsoft Research is proud to support Inspire. We hope our contribution will help them continue to inspire and create artistic opportunities for disabled youngsters and adults. We strongly encourage others in the region to support them, and make a real difference to their efforts."
Andrew Herbert, Managing Director, Microsoft Research

Labcraft
Labcraft, a family run business in Saffron Walden, have decided to support Inspire as their charity of the year for two years.

Inspire are incredibly grateful to Nick Luscombe, MD and his staff for their support.

"Labcraft is a family business (setup by Nick's grandfather, AA Luscombe) and design and manufacture Low Voltage, Energy Efficient lighting. The lights run from 12 or 24V battery supplies and are mainly used in commercial vehicles, leisure vehicles and solar systems.

The key benefits of the products are higher light output, lower power use and longer lifespan. In commercial vehicles this improves safety for logistics staff and also reduces maintenance costs, while leisure vehicles and solar systems benefit from low power which means a limited power supply will last much longer".

Cambridge Mencap
In October 2007 Inspire moved into premises in Milton, owned by Cambridge Mencap.  We are working together to provide creative activities for disabled people at the site in Milton.  Inspire is grateful to Cambridge Mencap for its support.
